Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 14, 2026

Remove Slander publishes at removeslander.com. Its operator can answer privacy questions at [email protected]. This notice describes handling connected with the editorial website, not a legal case-management or content-removal service. Do not send confidential case files or identity documents simply to raise an article question.

A request starts with what you send

Email or an available form can supply contact details, a name, message and attachments. The operator uses that information for the inquiry and relevant follow-up. Form-delivery and anti-spam services may process submissions and their technical context. Optional newsletter subscriptions provide details for mailing delivery and preference management. A provider may record delivery and any enabled opens or clicks. Unsubscribe through a mailing or ask for help; minimal suppression information can remain to honor the decision.

A page request has technical context

IP addresses, browser and device characteristics, referral addresses, requested resources and timestamps may be handled by hosting and protection services. These support delivery, fault investigation and abuse prevention. If analytics is active, identifiers and usage events can be processed to understand readership and improve site operation.

Cookies, pixels and similar methods may support preferences, measurement, affiliate attribution and advertisements. Some can be restricted or deleted with browser tools, although functionality may change and other collection methods can remain. Global Privacy Control is not the same as Do Not Track. Contact the operator about controls and applicable requirements for recognized preference signals. Reading a page alone does not authorize all optional marketing or tracking uses.

When outside services participate

Advertising, if enabled, may send identifiers, page context, activity and IP data to partners for ad delivery, measurement or personalization. Transfers can constitute sale, sharing or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. Affiliate links may communicate referral details to a merchant or network for attribution and commission purposes. Embedded content can contact its provider when loaded or interacted with.

Hosting, security, correspondence, form and enabled feature providers receive information relevant to their roles. Independent recipients may process data under their own notices. Linked services are separate operations. Disclosure can additionally be needed for legal obligations, rights or safety, investigations of misuse or a business transfer with appropriate safeguards and notices.

Storage and control over records

Information remains for reasonable task-related periods, such as resolving correspondence, maintaining subscriptions, remembering opt-outs and protecting operations. Legal duties or disputes can require longer retention. There is no universal storage period or guarantee of entirely secure transmission and storage.

Residence and the laws applying to the operator govern rights. Access, correction, deletion, portability, sensitive-use restrictions and opt-outs of sale, sharing or targeted ads may be available. Contact [email protected]. Proportionate verification may protect record disclosures or changes; unnecessary identity checks must not block sale or sharing opt-outs. Authorized agents and appeals apply where required. Lawful exceptions remain, and exercising rights will not lead to unlawful discrimination.

Audience and amendments

This publication is meant for adults and is not directed to children younger than 13. Their personal information is not knowingly collected. Report suspected collection for investigation and appropriate removal. Changes will be published in this notice, with additional notice or consent whenever applicable law requires it.

If you are unhappy

You may take back any consent you gave us at any point; what happened before stays lawful. See the Cookie Policy page for the cookies in use and how to manage them. Not satisfied with our answer?
